Issue of unjustifiable ban on HJS website !

Shiv Sena Chief Executive Uddhav Thackeray inaugurates ‘Sanatan Almanac (Panchang) 2013’ !

Mumbai : In the background of riots in Assam and Mumbai, the Central Government has imposed ban on the website of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) since two months which is unjustifiable. Delegation of HJS met Mr. Uddhav Thackeray, the Chief Executive of Shiv Sena in this connection at Shiv Sena Bhavan and submitted a detailed representation to him. Mr. Thackeray assured that ‘the said matter would be presented through the medium of MPs in the Parliament and before Central Ministers’. Mr. Diwakar Raote, a senior leader of Shiv Sena and MLA, Mr. Vinayak Raut, its Secretary and MLA and Mr. Harshal Pradhan, its Chief – Public Relations were present on the occasion.

Mr. Shinde, the national spokesperson of HJS said, “There is no objectionable matter on the website of HJS. In fact, matters creating awareness amongst Hindus towards Dharma are posted on the website. The Central Government, without giving any prior notice, imposed unjustifiable ban for publishing news related to Assam and Mumbai riots on the website but 25 websites run by anti-nationals and fanatics which are constantly spreading hatred towards Hindus and Bharat are still going on. It is the aim of the Government to stop activities of pro-Hindu activists by imposing ban on HJS website. Complaints, representations have been submitted at various places and agitations are staged; but the ban has not yet been lifted.

Attempts should be made for imposition of ban on ‘Peace’ channel ! – demand of HJS through representation

Dr. Zakir Naik published objectionable and insulting matter about Shri Ganesh on his Facebook account leading to hurting religious sentiments of Hindus and they are expressing severe anger over the issue. Then, Dr. Naik claimed that not he; but his employee posted such matter on the ‘Facebook’ account disowning his responsibility and deceiving Hindus. In fact, Dr. Naik has even earlier made objectionable statements about Hindu Saints, Deities, Vande Mataram etc., informed the delegation to Mr. Thackeray. He was also told about the link on his website and the objectionable matter.  A detailed representation was submitted to Mr. Thackeray on the occasion demanding ban on Dr. Naik’s ‘Peace’ channel and for opposing the meeting proposed to be held on Somayya Grounds; insisting for Dr. Naik’s arrest and legal action against him. Mr. Thackeray said that if there were more of such objectionable matters that too could be given to him and soon a policy decision would be taken in this regard.

It is unfortunate that Govt. is oppressing only Hindus and Hindu organisations – remorse expressed by Uddhav Thackeray

Seekers of Sanatan Sanstha are facing mental and physical harassment for the past 4 years due to the bias of Police. Mr. Abhay Vartak, the spokesperson of Sanatan brought the above to the notice of Mr. Thackeray giving few examples; when Mr. Thackeray expressed his regret that it was very unfortunate that the Government was oppressing only Hindus and pro-Hindu organisations.
