Mumbai : ‘Eliminate the obstacle in the form of Congress looming large over this country, free people of this country from corruption and scams and let good sense prevail over them so as to permanently immerse Congress’, was the prayer made by Shiv Sena Chief, Mr. Balasaheb Thackeray to Shri Ganesh.

Shiv Sena Chief extended best wishes to Hindus on the occasion of Ganesh Festival and said that :

1. Congress Govt. has granted permission for two days to play ‘dhol-tashas’ which Hindus should consider as a great favour to them.
2. Hindus have to ultimately live in Hindustan at the mercy of the Government.
3. There are restrictions of ‘decibels’ imposed on ‘Aaratis’ and other programs organised by Ganesha Committees
4. The Government has raised price of diesel by Rs. 5/- just before Ganesha Festival leading to further increase in cost of all goods which has caused lot of hardships for the poor people of this country; even then the Hindu displaying the tag of ‘secularism’ over his head, is celebrating ‘Ganeshotsava’ smearing ‘gulal’ with great enthusiasm. He does not let anything affect his enthusiasm.
5. There is destruction everywhere in the State and country but nobody is bothered and worrying for the future of this country.
6. O Ganaraya, You are the eliminator of all obstacles and know everything. Even ‘modak’ has become costly for Your devotees. Congress rulers made billions of rupees in coal scam. Please give strength to the citizens to stop all these things.
7. On this occasion, we make only one prayer by prostrating at Your feet and that is ‘Accept hospitality of Your devotees; but while leaving, do immersion of the Congress Government in the State as well as at the Centre. We bow at Your holy feet and perform such ‘aarti’.’
