Mockery of the patriotic song dropped from a program on ‘Zee Marathi’ channel !

Pune (Maharashtra) :  In a comedy program titled ‘Phu Bai Phu’ telecast on ‘ZEE Marathi’ channel, mockery was made of a song ‘Vedaat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat…’ which has been composed, based on the valour exhibited by Army Chief Prataprao Gujar of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Sahyadri Pratishthan issued a legal notice to ZEE Marathi for omitting that denigrating part. Taking serious note of the notice, the part making mockery was omitted from the program telecast on Tuesday.

The song was ridiculed stooping to low level which was noticed by activists of Sahyadri Pratishthan on watching the advertisement of the program. Ridiculing the bravery shown by Army Chief thus degrading his valour was very wrong and therefore, a notice was issued to the channel, informed Mr. Shramik Gojamgunde of Sahyadri Pratishthan. Denigration of ‘Devi’ under the name of humour !

In the same program, there was denigration of Deity under the guise of humour. (Hindus should oppose and boycott channels like ‘ZEE Marathi’ for denigrating their ideals and seats of worship through various programs presented by the channel ! – Editor SP)
