Hindus will have to unite to fight ‘Islam’ ! : Shiv Sena Chief

Mumbai : Today, the condition of Hindustan is such that one should not divide people in being Marathi or Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati etc. because Islam has become very powerful and we observed this during happenings at Azad Maidan. In such situation, can we, only Marathi people fight against Islam? Or can only Bengali or Punjabi fight? That period of ‘Lal – Bal – Pal’ has now gone, therefore, there is only one word now and it is ‘Hinduttva’. We cannot fight Islam unless we come together as Hindus. The above frank opinion was expressed by Mr. Balasaheb Thackeray, the Shiv Sena Chief in the last part of his interview being published in ‘Dainik Saamna’. Shiv Sena Chief also stated that –

1. Few days back, there was insurgency at Azad Maidan, therefore, we should be always prepared whether required or not.

2. The Government should be under pressure that ‘people would not listen. In case some decision is taken by us, people would not forgive us.’ Such should be the thinking of the Government; but our citizens are tolerating and the Government is getting its benefit. This is also the reason why such Government can remain in power for more than five years. People have no strategy and such lifeless minds are the biggest wealth of the Government.

3. The Editors who are there today, are ****, their loyalty can be bought and therefore, they are useless. They have become agents of political parties which can be understood from their writings. It can be judged from the layout of newspapers that they belong to which side. They start criticising others to support their side as such the brilliance in their writings has disappeared.

4. I belive in justice and not revenge. Even in Shiv Sena, nobody should try to take revenge on anyone.

5. I love my people. I have no temptations; I don’t want to earn anything for self. I have nothing in my heart; whatever I have, I give away. I have also remained away from power.  I could have held any post of my liking; but I kept distance and this is my wealth. This is only treasure of my life and I have preserved it.

6. There has to be loyalty; don’t bring shoddiness in loyalty. Do we change our parents? No; so if you don’t change your parents, why do you change parties? I want to tell only this.
