Strong protest against Central Govt’s censorship on media and freedom of expression

Fiery demonstrations to condemn ban on ‘Hindujagruti.org’, the website of HJS

Mumbai : Fiery demonstrations were staged by patriotic HJS and other organsiations at Dadar (E) condemning the ban on HJS
website ‘Hindujagruti.org’ imposed by the Central Government without giving any prior notice. HJs made a demand with the Central Government through the medium of these demonstrations to lift the ban on the website. More than 70 activists of BJP, Sanatan Sanstha and Vajra Dal etc. participated in the demonstrations. Slogans against ban on freedom of expression, media etc. were raised and boards were displayed on the subject. More than 400 devout Hindus extended support to HJS demonstrations by signing on the representation.

The coordinator of HJS, Mr. Sonar said that ban should be imposed on Bangla Deshi infitrators and not on websites to solve the problem of Assam riots. The Central Government blocking the websites of patrtiotic organsiations, is not taking any action against the websites , You-tube or Twitter accounts of anti-national Raza Academy, the mastermind of Mumbai riots, ‘Jamat-e-Islami Hind’, ‘Teharik-e-Hurriyat Jammu-Kashmir’, ‘Sharia for Hind’ etc. spreading terrorism in the country; but ‘Hindujagruti.org’ has been blocked for imparting education on Hindu Dharma and culture to 1,80,000 people from 170 countries guiding them on righteous path.

Dr. Uday Dhuri, the Convener of HJS said, “Congress Government has hated Hindus right from the day of independence. Congress has suppressed the history of Shivaji Maharaj, removed oil-painting of Swatantryaveer Savarkar and now imposing ban on HJS website; thus crossing all limits of committing of sins.”
