Dhanbad (Jharkhand) : Various organisations such as Tarun Hindu, Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sanatan Sanstha etc. staged demonstration on 9th August in Randhir Verma chowk here to protest against the rampant infiltration of anti-nationals in Assam, their atrocities on the Hindus there and the consequent displacement of Hindus. They demanded that the Centre should own up the responsibility of security of the Hindus in Assam and their rehabilitation. More than 100 Hindus participated in the demonstrations.
In the beginning Mr. Vaibhav Aphale of Sanatan Sanstha clarified the objective of the demonstration. Thereafter Tarun Hindu’s Mr. Manilalji, Dr. Mukti Kishore, the ardent Hindus Mr. Balram Singh, Mr. Prem Prakash, Bajrang Dal’s Mr. Umashankar Tiwari, Mr. Vikas Kumar, Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Mr. Ranjan Sinha and Mr. Pramod Jha expressed their thoughts about the sordid state of Hindus in Assam. Mr. Kamlesh Singh compered the demonstrations.
After the demonstration, a representation was handed over to Additional Collector of Dhanbad Mr. Ashokkumar Singh stating need to protect the Assamese Hindus and to bring the situation back to normal. While handing over the representation, Founder of ‘Tarun Hindu’ organisation Dr. Neel Madhav Das, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Mr. Samarpal Singh, an ardent Hindu Mr. Ritolia and Sanatan Sanstha’s Mr. Vaibhav Aphale were present.
2. Ardent Hindus were holding placards during the demonstration giving information about the burning issue in Assam. The placards were attracting attention of the people. Some citizens were trying to understand the objective of the demonstration.
3. While going to the Collector to hand over the representation, the Hindus took out a rally from the venue of demonstration to the office of Collector and raised slogans.
