Uttar Pradesh, Allahabad : Strongly opposing the BCCI’s decision for Indo-Pak series to be held later this year, VHP today accused the cricket body for "compromising" with the nation’s security and asked "patriotic" Indian players to refuse to play any match with Pakistan.

"Abu Jindal, who was recently caught by Delhi police, has said during interrogations that many Pakistanis had come to India five years ago on special visas issued for an Indo-Pak cricket series. They, however, stayed back and went on to set up terror cells," VHP Acting President Pravin Togadia said.

The Centre and the BCCI should immediately apologise for taking such a decision and compromising the nation’s security, Togadia said.

The fire-brand VHP leader said that the Indian cricketers, being so very patriotic all the time, should refuse to play any match with Pakistan.
