CM of Congress which is trying to pass anti-superstitions Act, prays to Shri Vitthal for rains !

Pandharpur (Maharashtra) : The Chief Minister, Mr. Pruthviraj Chavan said yesterday that he prayed to Shri Vitthal for saving us from the danger of famine and for good rainfall.



On the occasion of ‘Ashadhi Ekadashi’, the Chief Minister Chavan , accompanied by his wife, performed ‘puja’ of Shri Vitthal at 2.30 a.m. On behalf of warakaris, this honour was conferred on Mr. Muralidhar Phad and Mrs. Deepali Phad from Warakaris. Later, the CM was felicitated by the Committee.
