Devout Hindus succeed in preventing criticism against Hindu Dharma by Dr. Dabholkar

Ambejogai (Maharashtra) : A lecture by Dr. Narendra Dabholkar, the President of Maharashtra Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANS) was to be held at Sree Yogeshwari Nutan Primary School on the topic ‘Mental health and prudence ’. The local devout Hindus submitted a representation to the police station demanding cancellation of the speech and there should be no criticism against Deities, Hindu Dharma, great national leaders etc. if the speech was conducted. As a result, Dr. Dabholkar was curbed from his usual speech full of criticism against Hindus.

Mr. Balasaheb Kendre, the President of ‘Seva Sahakari Society’ from Kendrewadi, Mr. Bhimrao Kendre, member of Ambejogai Panchayat Samiti, Mr. Arvind Tarakase, Sarpanch and other devout Hindus submitted a representation with the police station as they learnt about Dr. Dabholkar’s speech. (Congratulations to all devout Hindus who were so alert and took action immediately against attack on Hindu Dharma ! If all Hindus show such alertness, establishment of Hindu Nation [i.e. an ideal kingdom, Ram-rajya, divine kingdom) is not far off ! – Editor SP)

Police Inspector (PI) Mr. Baliram Geete took immediate note of the representation and issued a notice to the organizers of the lecture that case would be filed against the concerned if any thing as mentioned above took place.  An assurance was also taken from the organizers in writing. (Congratulations to PI Geete for taking prompt action on receipt of the representation ! – Editor SP) There was tight police security at the venue and the whole program was recorded.

Dr. Dabholkar was enraged as he could not crticise Dharma. He said that he was giving lectures for the past 40 years on the strength of his intellectual power. He always talked complementary to any incident; but the orgANSation, against whom there is a proposal with the Central Government of imposing ban, always tries to restrict him from speaking up his thoughts which is very sad and he would be lodging a complaint with the Home Minister. (If Dr. Dabholkar is fighting on the strength of his psychological power, will the Govt. show courage to announce whether the Home Department has started investigation to check ANS’ connections with naxalite movement? – Editor SP)
