Exhibition on life-history of revolutionaries held at Mazgaon Docks receive encouraging response

Mumbai : I felt very good to see the exhibition held by HJS on life-history of revolutionaries. There is a need to teach true history to our youth and this exhibition is very inspiring. It teaches the importance of sacrifice. Such exhibition should be put up in every part of Mumbai. The above opinion was expressed by Mr. Mahadev Deole, the former Mayor of Mumbai when he visited the exhibition on revolutionaries in the office of Mazgaon Docks.  

Sri Satyanarayan Puja was organized by Repairs and Painting department of Mazgaon Docks when Mr. Rajendra Vichare, the secretary of Indian Workers Union took initiative in holding this exhibition. The exhibition received very good response.

Mr. Sumeet Sagavekar of HJS was felicitated by Mr. Deole for its activities. Mr. Anant Bhosale, the President of Lokadhikar Samiti, Mr. Nandu Varankar, its general secretary, Mr. Namdeo Narvekar, the President of Indian Workers’ Union for Mazgaon Docks unit, Mr. Anant Ghorpade and Prashant Mayekar were present on the occasion.

Highlights

1. Mrs. Kishori Pedanekar, a muniucpal councilor of Shiv Sena paid a visit to the exhibition. She said, “The base of patriotism and spirituality needs to be strong in the present times as family system is deteriorating due to TV programs. 2. The patriotic citizens demanded to publish a book based on this exhibition. 3. Few patriots felt that ‘Sri Satyanarayan puja’ site was looking more radiant.

Mr. Rajendra Vichare granted permission for the exhibition when asked, on the previous day. He also took part in organizing the exhibition. He introduced HJS activists to many people and appealed to others for organizing such exhibiton at other places. (Patriots like Mr. Rajendra Vichare are the real strength of Bharat ! – Editor SP)
