NIA prefers to conduct inquiry of those engaged in activities for protection of Nation and Dharma rather than inquiry of terrorists !

Margao (Goa): Squad of NIA today called two seekers of Sanatan viz. Mr. Mehul Raut and Mr. Amit Pailwan at Margao in connection with bomb blast case and conducted inquiry for an hour each.

Two officers of NIA made inquiry about personal details of seekers like they asked, “Instead of making money by taking up some job or using your education for the constructive activities in the interest of the Nation, why are you doing this ‘seva’? Seekers tried to explain to them that how undertaking spiritual practice can help in nation building. The officers, however, changed the topic. They showed photographs of few accused to the seekers and asked them whether they knew them. The seekers said ‘No’; then they were given a list of seekers staying in the ashram and asked the same question upon which seekers gave the names of those whom they knew. The officers then asked them, ‘If you know these people, how do you not know the accused?’ (Seekers from all over the country visit Sanatan ashram and then return to their respective places. Is it a rule that all seekers should know each other ? – Editor SP) They also asked the seekers whether they were aware about incidents of bomb blast taken place at different places in India; on which they replied as ‘No’. The seekers said that policemen present at the time of inquiry were looking at them with suspicion.
