Commendable drive of HJS on the occasion of ‘Dhuli-vandan’

Assistance thro’ mobile first-aid squad at Thane and Mumbai to accident-struck citizens !


Thane (Maharashtra) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) organized a first-aid camp at Thane in Vartaknagar, Kolshet, Jagmata, Naupada, besides Kalwa and Dombivali, to create awareness among people about celebration of Holi festival as per traditional method and prevent malpractices occurring on the occasion of ‘Dhuli-vandan’. Handbills giving information about ideal manner of celebrating ‘Holi’ and efforts made by HJS to stop malpractices during Holi etc. were distributed.

       In crowded places, announcements were made by stopping the vehicle and showing VCD on the topic. At Shastrinagar in Vartaknagar area, youth were made aware of the ill effects of using artificial and chemical colours and they were advised to avoid its use.

Thane :  Memorandum was submitted to Police Inspector Mr. Khade of Kasarvadvalli police station by HJS for prevention of malpractices during ‘Holi’ and ‘Rang-panchami’. In Lokpuram Public School, awareness was created among 200 parents towards malpractices taking place during ‘Holi’. Mrs. Mukta Deshpande, Mrs. Chhaya Ahire, Mrs. Neeta Revankar etc. distributed handbills on the subject.

Mumbai : The first-aid squad of HJS explained the topic and offered first-aid to affected people at Ghatkopar, Bhandup, Mulund, Kandivali, Andheri in Mumbai and at Koparkhairane, Vashi, Ghanasoli, Ghanasoli  village, Gothivali village etc. in Navi Mumbai. Announcements creating awareness among people were made four days prior to the ‘Holi’ festival.

Assistance

At New Mumbai, Mr. Rajesh ji Patil of Samadhan Cricket Club, Mr. Dayanand Patil, social activist,  Mr. Dhondiram Patil; at Ghatkopar, Mr. Nana Utekar of Veer Bajiprabhu Mitra Mandal, Mr. Rajesh Chavan, dy- area-chief of MNS from Mulund had taken intiative and made available an ambulance for HJS drive.

Speciality

  • In Mumbai, Kailas Jadhav and Dhananjay Jadhav and other police lauded HJS drive. One policeman said that because of HJS activists, their work pressure is reduced.
  • Devout Hindu, Mr. Rajesh Pokale took part in the drive throughout in his vehicle.
  • Mr. Rajendra Bidave from Koparkhiarane also participated in this drive.

Highlight :
Songs were being played very loudly near Nandibaba Temple. When they were explained about noise pollution, they lowered down the volume.
