Dombivali (Dist.Thane,Maharashtra) :
After taking note of the appeal made by activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti  at Manjunath High School in Khambalpada area, a pictorial exhibition on revolutionary leaders was arranged after banning ‘Valentine Day’. This exhibition received spontaneous and enthusiastic response from students. The inauguration of the exhibition was done by Congress Corporator Mrs. Shilpa Shelar by lighting the ceremonial lamp and breaking of coconut. On this occasion students of the high school made arrangements for the exhibition and helped in putting up the exhibition and later in properly removing the exhibits. Mrs. Sushila Vijaykumar, a teacher of the high school had invited students and staff from two schools located in the vicinity.

Highlights
1.The opening of the exhibition was to be done by cutting a ribbon. On being informed this was changed to lighting of the ceremonial lamp and breaking of coconut.

2. One student with Hindi background noted down in Hindi the information displayed on the flakes in the exhibition.
Reactions

1.Mrs. Shilpa Shelar, City Corporator, Congress – We have not seen the information displayed by the Samiti in the exhibition anywhere else until now. Such exhibitions should be arranged in every school.
