Pro-Hindu organizations unite against celebration of Valentine Day !

Dombivali (Thane) : 14th February is celebrated as Valentine Day all over the world. In India also, young men and women celebrate it on large scale; but celebrating this day is like drawing young generation towards materialism and immorality in the name of ‘love’. The ill effects of celebrating Valentine Day are taking the young generation to their fall and it has become a social problem. Representations, taking into account the above position, were submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to senior Police Inspector (PI) Jadhav at Ramnagar Police Station and PI Ramchandra Sonawane of Vishnunagar Police Station. HJS activists viz. Sandip Agnihotri, Mahesh Mulik, Shembekar, Nitin Palkar etc. were present on the occasion.

On this day,  young people indulge themselves in addictions on large scale. The boys drive rashly to impress girls in school, college areas leading to accidents. There have been incidents of eve- teasing creating serious law and order problems. This creates additional tension for the police department. It has been mentioned in the representation that ban should be imposed on smoking and drinking, partying in college, school and public areas.

Highlights

1. Jadhav, senior PI, Ramnagar Police Station : HJS drive is commendable. Today, everyone is trying to be modern but you are doing all this for protection of our culture which is laudable.
