Kuduru (Dist. Ramnagar, Karnataka ) :
Members of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti visited the sarpanch of the Grama Panchayat of Kuduru and explained that “Prajavani”, a Kannada Daily news paper had published an article on January 16, 2012 which states that Swami Vivekananda was an ordinary person, he was a smoker, meat eater and not an intelligent student in his school days. The intention behind the article was clear, that the writer, Dinesh Amminamattu, a converted Christian, wants to defame Swami Vivekananda. In order to stop this type of defamation, HJS members handed over the memorandum. HJS workers Mrs.Pratibha, Mr. Raghavendra Patil, Mr. Nanjegouda were a part of the team. Mr. Dayananda, a reporter of “Vijayakarnataka”, a Kannada daily, covered and published the news. Mr. Dayanand is a “Dharmabhimani” and supports HJS.
