Encouraging response to HJS' Respect National Flag drive

Jalgaon (Maharashtra): Drive undertaken by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for prevention of abuse of National Flag is receiving very good response from various schools in the city.

Principals of Abhinav Primary School, Zilha Parishad Vidya Niketan, Bhausaheb Raut Vidyalay, Smt. Shantabai Lakshmanrao Khadake Prathamik Vidya Mandir, Pushpavati Khushal Gulave Girls’ Secondary School, Seth L. N. Public School, N. V. Girls’ School, Pratibha Secondary School, late Lajawanti Shamlal Milawani Municipal School No. 45, Adarsh Sindhi School, Saint Hardasram Hindi High School were contacted in connection with the said drive. All of them extended support with a promise that they would advise their students of not to buy plastic flags. They also lauded the drive undertaken by HJS.

Good response by schools from Rajura and nearby area

Rajura, Dist. Chandrapur : Different schools from Rajura and other areas are responding in a very positive manner to the drive undertaken by HJS to maintain honour of National Flags.

 Principals of Adarsh Primary School, Shri. Shivaji High School, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule High School, Ashadevi Primary School (all from Rajura), Shri. Shivaji High School, Chunala, taluka Rajura; Zilha Parishad High School, Chunala appreciated the drive undertaken by HJS and felt that such drives should be undertaken often.

Guidance for prevention of abuse of National Flag in Akola


Akola (Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) created awareness among people about abuse of National Flags and its prevention in Gandhi Chowk. H. B. P. Girish Maharaj graced the program with his auspicious presence. Seekers of Sanatan Sanstha and Sree Sampradaya also took part in the drive.

Highlights : Gotmare brothers of Devayani Travels distribute 5000 plastic flags every year among Muslims to create patriotism in them. But they were explained the topic; after which they informed that the distribution of flags would not take place this year.

HJS submits representation to police at Lasalgaon

Lasalgaon (Maharashtra): HJS submitted a representation at police station against abuse of national flags. Republic Day is on 26th January. On this occasion, national flags made of paper and plastic are used everywhere. After hoisting of the flag, the flags are thrown on the road and found in the garbage, gutters, roadsides etc. leading to their abuse. The Government should, therefore, consider the sentiments of HJS and Indians and take necessary steps to prevent such abuse, is stated in the representation. Mr. Sachin Aher, Prof. Sandip Ghayal and Neelesh Bora were present when the representation was submitted.

Representation submitted to Vasai Police Station


Vasai (Maharashtra): A representation demanding prevention of abuse of National Flags was submitted by HJS to senior Police Inspector (PI) Chandrakant Jadhav of Manikpur Police Station in Vasai (W). PI Jadhav said that it was a good drive and he would immediately issue instructions to all concerned. Mr. Sadanand Panchal, Vikas Kandalkar, Pravin Vartak and Kishore Kavadia of HJS were present on the occasion.
