Dombivali (Dist. Thane,Maharashtra) : A camp was organized by Model College for youth under the auspices of National Social Service (NSS) at Borgaon near Karjat. In this camp, there was guidance by Mr. Mahesh Mulik of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the topic of ‘Need for patriotism’. About 80 youth members took advantage of this camp.

Mr. Mulik said while explaining the topic that the rulers had weakened this country with their corrupt practices. If the youth of this country did not think about welfare of his country, we cannot lead our life preserving our self-respect. The rulers are teaching wrong history to students distorting glorious history of Hindu kings because they don’t want the youth of this country to know the truth. The youth should take inspiration from the true history and preserve our culture and patriotism. The new year should be celebrated on ‘Gudhi Padva’ rather than on 31st December. Mr. Bhalchandra Gaikwad of the College extended cooperation.

Highlights

*After Mr. Mulik’s talk, few youth said that they had never attended any lecture for one hour; but they felt like going on listening to the topic.
