Pandharpur: A conference was organized by 'Vidrohi' Cultural movement on 'Pandharpur Devasthan Act � liberation of Vitthal � Rakhumai: what was achieved by Warkari sampradaya?' The conference however, was a flop as there were hardly any attendants. The organizers and speakers therefore, felt dejected. A representation was earlier given to the police by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti that there should be no criticism on Hindu deities in the conference.

Due to the representation, a notice was served by the police under article 149 to organizers of 'Vidrohi' conference. A video shooting was also done of the conference. As the conference was related to Warkaris, it was expected that many ladies and warkaris would attend. Shri. Nilu Phule said that Shankaracharya did not entertain Indira Gandhi, as she was a widow. While in the prison, Shankaracharya refused to take food from lower caste persons. He should not have been released. The organizers and speakers however, had no answer for the minimum attendance of people.
