Panvel (Maharashtra) : The remnants of Sri Ganesha idols immersed in Gadhi River at Devad, Panvel were re-immersed in the river by devout Hindus Mr. Rajesh Waghmare and  Mr.Jayesh Mali spending money from own pockets.

Mr. Rajesh Waghmare observed a few remnants of Sri Ganesha idols on the bank of Gadhi River and he felt very bad that the remnants of worshipped Deity were lying in trash and sewage. He, therefore, collected and arranged to re-immerse such remnants. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti will be felicitating him for his work.
