Ratnagiri(Maharashtra) : Foreign faction is working against Hindus, was the serious accusation made by writer, scholar Mr. Samir Darekar. Congress Party is now going beyond politics of votes and bringing an Act for prevention of communal violence. This Bill will benefit only minorities and cause severe harm to Hindus. Mr. Darekar was speaking in a program organized by Hindu Mahasabha at Ratnagiri.

Hindu Mahasabha has sounded a bugle against the proposed Act related to communal riots. The first meeting in this connection was held in Gurukrupa Mangal Karyalaya when Mr. Darekar explained the technical part and the effect of proposed Act in detail. He said, “Congress party is communal. It has said in the proposed Bill that Hindus are in majority and they harass minorities. The Act is being passed only to weaken Hindus, their organizations, pro-Hindu parties etc.; therefore, it indicates that Congress is only playing politics of communalism. The Act will be applicable to Hindus not only at the time of riots but even otherwise. It can create problems for Hindus even in their daily life; e.g. if a Hindu employer removes a person from minority community for his mistakes in work and the person lodges a complaint, the employer can be punished under this Act.”
