Effect of awareness created by HJS

Savda (Dist. Jalgaon, Maharashtra): Last year, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had created awareness among cracker-vendors about not selling crackers with pictures of Deities. As a result of the efforts taken by HJS, it was observed that crackers with Deities pictures were not kept for sale this year by the vendors. HJS activists met the vendors when they said, “We are also Hindus. Owing to the drive undertaken by HJS last year, we decided to not sell such crackers this year.” (Congratulations to Hindu cracker-vendors from Savda for following the guidance! – Editor SP)

Cracker – seller from Nhavi (Dist. Jalgaon) distribute copies of representation to other vendors

Mr. Vijay Talele, a retailer of crackers asked for a copy of representation submitted by HJS demanding ban on sale of crackers with Deities pictures and distributed the same to other vendors creating awareness among them. (Congratulations to Mr. Vijay Talele for taking active part in the drive to prevent denigration of Deities ! If every Hindu makes such effort, denigration of Deities will be stopped permanently ! – Editor SP) Mr. Talele also showed willingness to telecast VCDs on ‘Dharmacharan’ on his private TV channel.
