Dombivali: Bengali goldsmiths celebrated a festival to worship Deity ‘Vishwakarma’. The workers were playing cards sitting in front of the idol of this deity and Hindi film songs were played loudly by them creating noise pollution in the area. Residents living nearby were affected by the noise pollution.

Mr. Ajay Sambhus of HJS observed the above and he explained about denigration to the workers playing cards. He told them, “You are playing film songs in religious ceremony. This is creating problem for residents staying nearby and you are also playing cards.” Then, they stopped the film music and played devotional songs. (Congratulations to the goldsmiths who promptly tried to bring a change in themselves on listening to the guidance. – Editor SP)
