Success of HJS

Belgaum (Karnataka): ‘Tata Sky’ had put up hoardings at various places in Belgaum denigrating Sri Ganesha. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) first explained the science to Mr. Wasim Belgaumkar, Sales Manager of the Company and gave information about it to the Belgaum Police Station. The concerned Police Inspector gave positive response to HJS and instructed the company to remove the hoardings. The company then removed all the hoardings displayed in the city.

First, the children attending HJS’ Dharmashikshan classes learnt about the denigration. Out of them, Mr. Sunil Dhamanekar, Mr. Alok Kangaralkar, Mr. Sagar Bhatkhande, Mr. Raju Sawant and Mr. Gajanan Bhatkhande first went to the shop where such hoarding was displayed and explained the matter to the shopkeeper.  The shopkeeper too responded in positive manner and after discussing the matter with management, he removed the hoarding in half an hour. Mr. Girish Kulkarni and Rhushikesh Gurjar of HJS realized that such type of hoardings were displayed throughout the city; therefore, they met Mr. Wasim Belgaumkar, the Sales Manager of the Company.

Initially, Mr. Wasim was not ready to withdraw the hoardings; however, after listening to the detailed explanation by HJS members, he discussed the matter with the management of the company and assured to withdraw the hoardings. (Congratulations to all devout Hindus for guiding the concerned persons and to the devout Hindus who acted promptly! – Editor SP)  Mr. Girish Kulkarni also informed the Police Inspector from Khadebazar police station who took immediate note of the same and called up the company. On receiving a call from the Police Inspector, the company removed all hoardings displayed in the city by the evening.
