Mumbai: Signature drive by Dharmashakti Sena at various places to support Anna Hazare

Mumbai: On 24th August, signature drive was undertaken by Dharmashakti Sena near railway stations at Borivali (W), Vashi (Navi Mumbai), Opposite Neelyoga Mall, Ghatkopar (E) and on 25th August, outside Andheri (E) railway station. The spontaneous response of citizens indicated the anger against corruption among people.

Rally at Bhandup and representation submitted to MP

On 25th August, an organization called ‘India against Corruption’ held a rally at Bhandup in support of Shri. Anna Hazare in which Dharmahskati Sena’s activists also took part. The rally was concluded near the residence of MP, Mr. Sanjay Patil. In his absence, his mother accepted the representation. More than 250 patriots participated in the rally.

Encouraging response of citizens, 5000 signatures collected

In all 5375 patriotic citizens signed the representation at all the places mentioned above. 45 activists of Dharmashakti Sena had joined the drive. People were motivated to join the movement due to slogans raised over loudspeaker like ‘Bharat Matecha Vijay Aso !‘, ‘Vande Mataram !’, ‘Anna Hazare ago badho hum tumhare saath hai !‘ etc. As a result, about 350 citizens spontaneously joined the movement. At all places, citizens were coming forward to put their signatures and were taking signatures of other citizens.
