‘Dharmashakti Sena to undertake ‘Pavankhind’ drive on 24 July ! – Ramesh Shinde

Kolhapur (Maharashtra): Narveer Bajiprabhu Deshpande and Narveer Shiva Kashid sacrificed their life for protection of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. ‘Dharmashakti Sena’, the youth branch of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), pro-Hindu organizations and all devout Hindus have planned ‘Pavankhind’ drive on ‘Ashadh Krushna Navami’ i.e. on Sunday, 24th July to pay homage to them. An appeal was made by Mr. Ramesh Shinde of HJS to all devout Hindus and devotees of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to join this drive. A press conference was held for the purpose at 11.30 a.m. at Shah Smarak Bhavan which was attended by Mr. Vinay Panwalkar, Mr. Suresh Chavan and Mr. Madhukar Nazare of HJS. HJS has been organizing various activities for the past whole week on the occasion. The road going to the memorial of Bajiprabhu Deshpande from the parking place near Pavankhind was cleaned on 13th July. 40 students of Jugai High School from Yelwan, Jugai also participated in this cleaning drive along with the activists of HJS. A board showing Pavankhind’s direction was also put up. The Principal of Jugai High School Mr. K. B. Jadhav, teachers Mr. S. P. Lashkar and Subhash Patil attended the program. On 16th July, Mr. Suresh Patil of Bajarang Dal and Mr. Suresh Davari of HJS performed ‘puja’ of the Bajiparbhu’s memorial. The signboard showing direction of Pavankhind was inaugurated by Mr. Ramesh Shinde. Students of AMCC paid guard of honour to the memory of Bajiprabhu Deshpande.

Various programs organized on 24th July are ‘Palakhi sohala’ at 10.00 a.m. at Malakapur, guidance at 11.30 a.m. at Vitthal Mandir which is open to all and taking oath of establishment of Hindu Nation at 3.00 p.m. at Pavankhind. Guidance by Prof. Rajendra Thakur from Uttur, 14th descendent of Narveer Shiva Kashid, Mr. Anandrao Kashid and Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat States has been arranged on the subject of ‘Nation and Dharma’. There will be exhibitions related to the said subject and exhibition of outdoor games will be main attractions of the program. Shri. Ramesh Shinde made an appeal to all devout Hindus to participate in the program.
