Hinganghat (Dist. Wardha, Maharashtra): In India, we worship the country as ‘Bharatmata’, the Motherland; but in other countries that is not the practice as people of those countries do not address them as ‘mata’ e.g. England Mata, America Mata or Japan Mata. M F Husain has committed a serious crime by drawing nude pictures of Deities and ‘Bharatmata’. This is not art but it is perversion. He should be punished; but democracy cannot take any action against such offence; therefore, we should march to Red Fort in Delhi, stated the Mahant Sureshji Sahstri of local Balaji Temple. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) recently held ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha’ at SSM College, Hinganghat which was guided by Mahant Shastriji. Miss Sharvari Padhye of Sanatan Sanstha and Mr. Hemant Khatri of HJS also addressed the ‘sabha’ attended by about 250 devout Hindus.

Mahant Sureshji Shastri and other dignitaries lighted the lamp to begin the ‘sabha’. ‘Vedamurty’ Shri. Sudhir Pande and his group recited ‘Veda-mantras’. A VCD was shown to introduce the pro-Hindu daily newspaper ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ and activities of HJS to the audience. Smt. Sushama Batra gave information about Sanatan’s ‘Gurukul’. Miss Sharvari Padhye of Sanatan Sanstha explained the importance of ‘Dharmacharan’ and spiritual practice as also the manner in which a pro-Hindu and spiritual organization like Sanatan Sanstha was being harassed in the State. Mr. Hemant Khatri of HJS said that Muslims have become so insolent that they are now daring to kidnap Hindu girls. We tolerate all such things because we do not have ‘Dharmabhiman (love and respect towards Dharma)’. It is, therefore, necessary to establish a righteous Hindu Nation.
