Bhiwandi (Maharashtra): Sanatan Sanstha is an organization that spreads spirituality. Seekers of Sanatan propagate Hindu Dharma by going door to door. They have imparted knowledge of Hindu Dharma to hundreds of people which has improved quality of life of the people; therefore, everyone should support them. A mere thought of imposing ban on Hindu activists will give rise to a massive outcry. We are ready to do anything for protection of Dharma. The above fiery thoughts were expressed by H. B. P. Kailas Maharaj Nichite during his address in Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the grounds near Hanuman Temple at Gorasai in Bhiwandi taluka. Mrs. Alpana Joshi of Sanatan Sanstha and Mr. Prasad Vadake of HJS shared the dais with him. Felicitation of H. B. P. Kailas Maharaj Nichite was done by Mr. Atmaram Kene, the Sarpanch of Gorasai and Mr. Prasad Vadake and Mrs. Alpana Joshi were felicitated by a devout Hindu from Gorasai and doctor Tanaji Kene and Mrs. Vimal Kene respectively.

The ‘sabha’ began with blowing of conch, lighting lamp and recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’. Mr. Vadake spoke about the present position of Hindus and solution to bring about a change in this situation. Mrs. Joshi of Sanatan Sanstha explained to the members of audience, the importance of undertaking spiritual practice, individual (vyashti) as well as collective (samashti); so also the need for following ‘Dharmacharan’. She spoke about the keen interest of Congress Government in imposing ban on Sanatan Sanstha. Mr. Abhijit Bhojane presented an overview of various activities undertaken by HJS. The ‘sabha’ was compeered by Mrs. Rhutuja Nate and concluded with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’.     

Highlights

1. The residents made a demand to organize such ‘sabha’ even in ‘Nimbavali’ village after the ‘sabha’.
2. Dr. Tanaji Kene, Shiv Sena taluka-chief Mr. Anant Kene and other local residents extended cooperation in holding the ‘sabha’.
3. Women from Gorasai village drew beautiful ‘rangolis’ on the roads.
4. Former Sarpanch of Gorasai, Sarpanch of Bhinare, Dy. Sarpanch of Borpada and its former Sarpanch so also other eminent personalities from Shelar, Nimbavali and Dhamangaon villages attended the ‘sabha’ along with many devout Hindus.
