Akola (Maharashtra): In a country where Hindus are in majority, it seems that Hindus have lost their identity. In other religions, men wear a certain type of cap. Hindus, however, feel awkward to even apply ‘tila’ on their forehead; leave aside the cap. How can then Hindus be recognized among others? Hindus need to educate themselves on matters related to Dharma. Follow ‘Dharmacharan’ and proudly tell the world that you are a Hindu. Nowadays, when a few months old infant dances to the tune of a band, his mother feels very proud. Are there only eunuchs in this country? Today’s mother watches dance programs on TV when she is expecting a child. What qualities will then be inculcated in the child while still in womb ? We should keep before our children, ideals like Bhagat Singh, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Maharana Pratap etc.  Only the Congress Government is responsible for the deterioration of this country. The above views were expressed by  H. B. P. Eknath Maharaj Dikkar while addressing Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held at Kolambi, Dist. Akola.

Mr. Dheeraj Raut of HJS said that our flag is saffron; but a boy coming from Italy rules over India and says ‘You are saffron terrorists’. Rahul Gandhi said on the suicides committed by farmers that he was ashamed of being an Indian; but does he have any relation with the soil of this country?

Mrs. Ashwini Sarode of Sanatan Sanstha said, “Sanatan Sanstha has shown the path of achieving quick spiritual progress during this period of crisis by undertaking spiritual practice as per the times when Hindus are confused about matters related to ‘Dharmacharan’. Anti-Hindus and the Government have, however, hatched a plot to malign the name of Sanatan Sanstha. The ‘sabha’ was attended by 300 devout Hindus. The members were listening to the guidance very intently. The ‘sabha’ was concluded with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ by Miss Pranita Pachade of HJS.

Highlights

1. Local women took part in canvassing for the ‘sabha’ on their own.

2. H. B. P. Eknath Maharaj explained about the ‘sattvik (divinely pure)’ products of Sanatan and regarding ‘Sanatan Prabhat’; as a result, there was very good response to the products at the exhibition held at the venue of the ‘sabha’.

3. Around 25 devout Hindus attended the meeting held after the ‘sabha’ and made a demand to start ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes.
