Rajura (Dist. Chandrapur, Maharashtra):
“We have lost self-confidence. We must find out our origin; only then we can protect our Dharma and culture. Hindu Dharma is constantly under attack. There is a conspiracy being hatched in this country to take us away from Hindu Dharma; still we are not united. It is necessary for safeguarding our Dharma, culture and existence that we fight like a soldier with the perspective of ‘I will live and die for my Dharma,” stated Dharmacharya H. B. P. Barsagade Maharaj in the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on 14th May at the local Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hall. Miss Sharvari Padhye of Sanatan Sanstha, Mr. Hemant Khatri of HJS also addressed the ‘sabha’. The ‘sabha’ was attended by more than 250 devout Hindus.

Dharmacharya H. B. P. Barsagade Maharaj and other dignitaries first lighted the sacred lamp followed with recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’ by ‘Vedamurty’ Shri. Ganeshacharya Maharaj.

Mr. Hemant Khatri said, “Our nation has got independence but it has not yet become a righteously governed nation. Our rulers are creating history of scams. The condition of this country is deteriorating with corruption, inflation, poverty, decline in moral values etc. Today, a common man is only concerned with self, his family and his job. The Government is hatching plot to pass anti-Hindu Acts and eliminate Hindu Dharma. All Hindu brethren, therefore, need to unite to establish a Hindu Nation.

Miss Sharvari Padhye said, “The present situation in this country shows that Hindus will become minority in the next 60 years. Today, despite Hindus being in majority, pro-Hindu  organization like Sanatan Sanstha has to undergo Government’s repression. What will then happen when Hindus become minority?”

Highlight

1. Signature drive was undertaken against the anti-superstitions Act
2. Signature drive demanding to bring out a coin in the name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj  was also undertaken on the occasion.
