7th May in City Bus stand parking area HJS protested against State Government ‘s Anti Hindu Act Related to Religious Society and Religious ACT 2011.The protest  related mainly towards the State Government interferience in the Govermantisations of Hindus Temples.

The speakers were Mr.  Rajshekar Hebbar , Mr. Chittaranjan Hedge VHP udupi, Dr. Srikala Joshi Sanatan Sanstha and from HJS Mr. Ramanand Gowda , Mr.  Vijaya Kumar, Mr. Ravin Kamath.

Mr.  Vijaya Kumar Pointed on the State Government master plan to take over the endowment department and Hindu Temples land, property and gold ornaments into their custody. Hence without any discussion in the Vidhana Sabha the above ACT was been passed and will be implemented after the Governer’s approval.

Dr. Srikala joshi Pointed on the importance of Temples of Hindus where the total Hindu society would be benefited by the divine chaitainya which emerges from Temples.

Further VHP’S spokes person Mr. Chittaranjan Hegde highlighted on the Indian Constitution which is based on democracy which allows all community’s to live in nation with communal Harmony. In today’s scenario, Hindus have no independence to perform Dharmacharan. History says that due to Foreign Invasion and Non Hindus have invaded our Nation and looted wealth. Current scenario where politicians have corrupted and looted the nation at a very large scale and deposited money in Swiss Bank , due to which  the newborns are born with debt of Rs. 10000. Now the evil eyes of politicians are on the Temples where there is huge corpus of money which is offered by Hindus.

Mr. Ramanand Gowda  pointed on the Temples are the  backbone of Hindu society’s and more than 400 temples have been demolished by State Government without proper understanding the instructions given by supreme court. Now the Endowments minister said this is done due to misunderstanding the Supreme Court’s order by the officers.  Now the Endowment minister and those officers need to get the demolished temples rebuilt.

Mr. Rajashekar Hebbar highlighted on negative consequences of the above act which consist of the Secretary who himself is the portfolio of the same to whichever religion he may belong to. This committee which consists of 8 members who are suppose to work on behalf of State Government.

The decision taken by these members will be State Government Driven and is not by majority. He also warned State Government not to play with people’s feelings or else need to face consequences in the upcoming elections.

To conclude Mr. Ravin Kamath pointed the so called BJP’s ruling period, more than 223 Hindu temples were thieved and only 11 enquiries are done with 1 case got closed and the thief got punished.

Protest was attended by 120 dharmabhimanis. At the end of the protest the memorandum was handed over to DC of Udupi to submit the same to Governor’s office.
