Murbad (Thane, Maharashtra):
If an article in the dark one requires light to search for the article; similarly Dharma is necessary to achieve the purpose on one’s life and Sanatan is an organization which protects the Dharma, and works for the benefit of society. These appreciative comments were expressed by H.B.P. Fawade Maharaj at the Hindu Dharma Jagruti Sabha organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Devgaon in Murbad Taluka. 200 people were present at the Sabha organized on the grounds in front of the Zilla Parishad school.

The Sabha commenced with the blowing of the ceremonial conch; followed by recital of Vedic Mantras. Next Mr. Abhinay Lotlikar presented a report on the activities of HJS. Guiding the Sabha, Mrs. Alpana Joshi of Sanatan Sanstha said, “Sanatan is an organization which helps society to practice spirituality. Today 6 seekers under the guidance of Sanatan have become saints and several other seekers are on the path of gaining sainthood. The motive of Sanatan Sanstha is to restore back the glorious days of Dharma.” Mr. Prasad Vadke of HJS said, “Swatantryaveer Savarkar and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj should be the idols for today’s youth. Today Hindus are accused of terrorism but Islamic terrorism is ignored due to the appeasement of Muslims. Youth of Devgoan have awakened with their pride towards and it is necessary that such unity in Hindus should increase.”

The program concluded with the recital of ‘Vande Mataram’ by Mrs. Bhakti Kulkarni. Mrs Vaishali Tupe – Sarpanch of Devgaon, Mr. Martand Tekde – Vice Sarpanch of Devgaon and Mr. Ganesh Tupe – Police Patil were the dignitaries present for the program,

Highlights :

1. The Sabha was advertised and organized by the youths from the Dharma education class
2. On the conclusion of the Sabha, H. Kamalnath Baba from Dhanivli demanded that a similar Sabha should be arranged at his place.
