Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha at Khopoli

Khopoli (Maharashtra): Hindu culture is supreme in the world. It is the duty of every youth to protect and nurture Hindu culture, said Guruvarya H. B. P. Maruti Maharaj Rane in his address during the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha organized by Hindu Janajagriti Samiti (HJS) on 10th April in Sriram Mangal Karyalaya.

H. B. P. Maruti Maharaj Rane said further in his guidance, “We are forgetting our culture. We celebrate birthdays like Christians by blowing out a candle. Even if 31st December is falling on the tithi of ‘Ekadashi’, we are not much concerned. Girls do not apply ‘kumkum’. Thus one sees imitation of western culture everywhere. In addition, Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti calls even going on pilgrimage as a part of superstition. Mr. Rajendraprasad Bhogale of Sanaan Sanstha and Mr. Narendra Surve of HJS also expressed their views in the ‘sabha’. Mr. Balawant Pathak did compeering of the ‘sabha’. Miss Sandhya Hendage spoke about Sanatan’s Gurukul. The ‘sabha’ was concluded with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ by Miss Ramani Gadkari. About 300 devout Hindus attended the ‘sabha’.

Highlights
1. H. B. P. Kashinath Vagule was felicitated for converting 25 persons back to Hinduism who had earlier adopted Christianity.
