Tiles with Hindu Deities pictures outside lavatories at Ghatkopar Station have been removed : HJS activists create awareness in local Superintendent

Mumbai: Outside the lavatory on platform Number 1 at Ghatkopar Railway Station, there were tiles with pictures of Hindu Deities resulting in denigration of Deities. When Mrs. Prajakta Sawant, an activist of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) realized it, she informed Mr. Satish Sonar and Mr. Kashiram Parab about the same. They then met Station Superintendent Pravin Shelke in this connection and explained to him regarding denigration of Deities; how fitting of such tiles causes denigration of Deities, which is the right place of Deities etc. They also showed him different news items published in ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ in this connection. Mr. Shelke assured to remove the tiles and HJS activists noticed that the tiles were removed on 31st March.
