Mangalore (Karnataka) :
On 19th March 2011,a press meet was called by Hindu Janajaguti Samiti in Woodlands Hotel Mangalore regarding the protest against the handover of the religious field by the government. In this meeting, the district head of HJS Mr. Ramesh Nayak, the vice-president of Temples and Spiritual Centers’ Mahasangh, Mr.  Lakshmeesha Gabladka, the Secretaries: Mr. Ramananda Gowda and Kajanchi Mr. Anantha Kamath made their presence.

The Policy Of ‘Divide And Rule’ of Indian Politics which is worst than what the British did is destroying Hindu Dharma – Mr. Lakshmeesha Gabladka

Today Yediyurappa’s Government by creating a new policy of handover of religious field has literally ash out Hindu Dharma. How would the spirituality of temples be maintained if corrupt political officers who are filled with corruption in every drop of blood and every inch of their body get the power over temples ? In today’s world just by mere holding the flag and going on a procession will not protect dharma; but it is only by protecting temples is how dharma can be protected. Therefore all the Hindu organisations, keeping this in mind should unite keeping aside the organisations and protest against the new policy of government. This dummy government which is bringing up new rules for the temples, why is it not raising a word towards the wealth of churches and mosques ? Since past 55 years many different rules came up for our dharma and temples were against them and therefore what difference can this new policy do ?

"Every single Hindu should protest against the new policy of government of the handover" – Mr. Ramesh Nayak

The bill of Karnataka state government of handing over of Holy places (dharmik kshetr) has already been passed over to Vidhanasabha and Vidanparishat for the signature of governor. We all strictly oppose this policy. Because of this, the purity of temples will be lost and temples will become business centers. Our spiritual centers should be protected by us at any cost. For this sake, all believers, devotees and all the Hindu associations should join their hands together and fight against it. Hindu Janajaguti Samiti will take up the fight via getting signatures and protests throughout the state.

More than 18 press reporters and media people were present and got their queries sorted out and the meet was thus concluded.
