Karwar (Karnataka) : Today Hindu Dharma is under threat of jihadi terrorism, conversion, denigration of deities, influence of western culture, demolition of temple deities and anti government policies.
With the aim of awakening Hindus and to stop the attacks on Hindu dharma, providing education on righteousness to Hindus and there by uniting Hindus to protect nation and dharma. Dharma Jagruti sabha was held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti on 6th March 2011 at 5.30 p.m. at Sri Daivajn Bhavan Kalyan Mantap, Karwar.
On the occasion, present on the dais were Mr. Vidvan Gopal Bhat Karwar, Mrs. Rama Prabhu, Sanatan Sanstha, Mrs. Vidula Haldipur, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
Sabha was started with couching shell and reciting Vedic hymns. Mr. Vidvan Gopal Bhat inagurated the sabha by lighting the Holy Lamp. Mrs. Jayashree Krishna Murthy Nadgiri felicitated Mrs. Sandya Andare representing Sanatan Prabhat. Talking on the occasion Mrs. Sandya Andare said that Sanatan Prabhat is working as a common dais for all Hindus world wide. HJS Activist Mr. Ashok Kudalkar briefed about the aim, activities and special features of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

From last 20 years Sanatan Sanstha is working for spreading spirituality among the masses and giving spiritual education. People in the society knew that Sanatan Sanstha means telling spirituality to the people, telling about righteousness and putting exhibitions on holy books, but from last one year lot of efforts were done in projecting seekers as a terrorist and labeling Sanatan as “Saffron Terrorist and Hindu Terrorist’’. Today Sanantan Sanstha has done a lot of research on science of spirituality, telling ‘how and why ?’ on various spiritual aspect.
“Righteousness (Dharma) necessary for the upliftment of The Nation” – Mrs. Vidula Haldipur.
Talking on the occasion Mrs. Vidula Haldipur said the Dharma is not only the pillar of the society but it is life of nation, it is the soul of our nation. The nation will flourish in all aspect only when the rules do follow righteousness and bring it into practice. Nation will be surrounded by various natural calamities when righteousness falls in the society. She explained that every nation have its own ultimate aim, like for Britain spreading business to the whole world was its aim and soul, similarly soul of Great Bharat is Spirituality. So it is the right of every Hindu to understand the importance of practicing righteousness in day to day life , and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti is ready to give free education on righteousness ( Dharmashikshan classed ) to all Hindus.

Talking on the occasion Mr. Vidvan Gopal Bhat said that our nation is standing on Dharma, whenever Dharmaglani takes place, God takes incarnation on the earth and does re-establishment of dharma. It was the time when dharma collapsed in the society and God incarnated in the form Jagadguru Shankaracharya, who again re- established dharma in the whole Bharat. He quoted that dharma gives happiness in the society and now again the society is going away from dharma. He made the society realise the importance of performing our daily activities by Dharmacharan. Finally he requested the audience to sacrifice Tan, Man, Dhan, (Mind Body and wealth ) for protecting our dharma and rebuilding a noble society, because practicing Dharma only can build an healthy and noble society and a healthy nation.
At last Sabha was ended with singing Vande Mataram, Ms. Pushpa and Mrs. Kavitha Shenvi did master ceremony of the function. Nearly 160 devout Hindus where present in Dharmasabha.Also See
