Pune (Maharashtra): A play based on the anti-Dharma play, ‘Yadakadachit’ was to be presented in the social gathering of the Government Engineering College, here. Getting this information the Bharatiy Janata Yuva Morcha (BJUM) and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) jointly met the principal of the college, Mr. Sahastrabuddhe. A memorandum was handed over to him and requested him ‘to honour the religious sentiments of Hindus and to delete the ridiculing part from the play concerning the Dharma, Deities and the National Heroes’. (Congrtulations to the members of BJYM and HJS for taking prompt action to stop the denigration of Dharma! – Editor SP) Paying due respect to the request, the play was presented after deleting the ridiculous part in the play. Police were kept in vigil outside the auditorium at the time of the program.
