Shame on the Karnataka Govt. which is ruled by 'so-called Pro-Hindu' BJP. At one side, BJP Govt. has decided to demolish 5000 Temples in the state and also it has took over Temples and using Temple funds in the inappropriate way. O Hindus, it proves that neither BJP nor Congress is your savior and now Hindus should unite against all Anti-Hindu forces and should establish 'Divine Hindu Kingdom' !

Also it will be worthy to note that Karnataka Govt. is already getting Rs. 30 crores annually from the Temple and it goes to treasury of Govt. instead of welfare of Hindus. Now Govt. has hiked many 'Puja' rates 4 to 6 times, making this temple as a weapon to loot Hindu devotees !

Mangalore (Karnataka): Authorities of Kukke Sri Subrahmanya Temple have revised the various seva rates with effect from January 2011. The nagaprathishte with 'sarpa samskara' harake seva will henceforth be charged Rs 2,500, nagaprathishte Rs 400, ashlesha bali Rs 400, prayer Rs 100, panchamrutha abhisheka Rs 100. Similalry, rates of various sevas offered at Sri Subrahmanya, Umamaheshwara, Kukkelinga, Aadi Subrahmanya, Hosaligamma, Kala Bhairava, Kashi Katte too has been revised.

Devotees who send their 'kanike' (offering) of Rs 100 and more through money order will be sent 'prasad' through post. Ashlesha bali seva will be performed on two occasions each day -- at 7 am and 9.30 am and receipts will be issued 15 minutes in advance. For sevas such as sarpa samskara, naga prathishte, mahapooja, abhishekas that are performed before noon, devotees should obtain receipts in advance in the morning. Devotees can have darshan from 6.30 am to 1.30 pm and from 3.30 pm to 8 pm. The mahamangalarathi will be performed at 12 noon and 7.30 pm respectively.
