Hindu organizations held signature campaign against Afzal

Navi Mumbai: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), BJP, Hindu janajagruti samiti (HJS), RSS and other Hindu organizations held 'Signature Campaign' in support of the death sentence granted to traitor Afzal. The representation to be sent to the President in this regard was signed by about 3500 patriotic Indians.

Shri. Shankar Gaykar was the chief guest on the occasion. In his speech, he said that it will be a contempt of Court if the death sentence granted to Afzal was annulled. He said that granting mercy to Afzal was like granting pardon to Aurangzeb, Gazani and Afzal Khan. Asking for pardon taking shelter of wife and children is an insult of Islam. Even if Government and Court grants pardon to Afzal, members of Bajarang Dal will carry out the death sentence.
