Arya Chanakya destroyed Nanda, a cruel king and instated Chandragupta a righteous king on the throne. Samarth undertook a similar mission. In those days every king had a royal priest or a royal Guru in his court. The king would govern his kingdom in accordance with their advice, acting as a trustee.

What are the attributes of an ideal king?
A king should have control over his sense organs. He should protect his subjects and take care of them as a parent. He must always harbour the feeling that he is the servitor of the subjects.

The code of conduct with the enemy is called the defence strategy. The defence strategy adopted towards the enemy includes both overt and covert enemies. An enemy will definitely harm a state and its people at sometime or the other.

Why are rewards and punishments necessary to enforce the rule of righteousness?
Mere preaching does not change a person. To turn man towards Righteousness either the incentive of rewards or the fear of punishment is necessary. However preaching or explaining the benefits of following Righteousness does not have any effect whatsoever on people with immoral tendencies.

Why was there no need for an administrative system in Satyayug?
All the people in the Satyayug adhered to spiritual knowledge, were righteous and sattvik and knew how to discriminate between right and wrong. That is why each one’s existence proved conducive for the other. Thus if everyone remains righteous then harmonious living is assured.

Why is correct timing necessary to undertake spiritual practice of Kshatriya class?
An individual can adopt the spiritual practice of any class other than the Kshatriya whenever he wishes, e.g. studying and preaching Spirituality like the Brahman, offering donations like the Vaishya and serving the other three classes like the Shudra. However it is not so with spiritual practice of the Kshatriya class.
