A cap or a turban is worn on the head by men. Hindu Dharma has suggested various remedies for a person to have communion with God in some manner or the other. In Kaliyug, man has drifted far away from ritualistic worship, sadhana etc. His seriousness towards karma has also declined. In such situation, the external media like a cap or a turban are used to generate spiritual emotion, seriousness and the desire for God realisation in a person. Hence, the concept of cap and turban was created.
1. Why have different types of caps come into existence?
In ancient times, people were very sattvik. So having a tuft of hair and wearing of a holy thread was considered a true achar; but after some time with the influence of foreign culture on Bharatiya subjects the achars of Hindu culture declined. The educated Jivas started following the foreign pattern of behaviour. Taking advantage of this aspect the mantriks from Hell region (Patal) gradually took control of the minds of the Bharatiyas through the medium of non-sattvik dresses and brought about changes in the colour and method of Bharatiya’s dresses. For this reason different types of caps evolved.
Today various types of caps are available in the market. These include a round-shaped black cap, a round cap worn while playing cricket, a white fur cap, a cap of weird colours to be worn by children, white flat cap, a woollen cap, a cap made of a specific cloth by inserting a cardboard in it etc. Among these, the flat white cap, woollen cap and the cap of a specific cloth with cardboard inserted in it were created in Bharat.
2. A black coloured round cap (cowboy hat)
This influence of the foreign culture on Bharat is an indicator of the thinking process that ‘Bharatiyas like black colour’. Attraction towards black colour was generated due to the demonic illusion of the foreigners and therefore people began to wear a black cap instead of a white one as a fashion. Though a cap is a part of Bharatiya dress, the demonic culture sowed the seeds of black colour in it and tried to bring the Bharatiya subjects under the influence of the foreign culture. Through the medium of a black cap, the deceitful Mantriks brought the sattvik intellect of the Hindus under their control and established the English culture in Bharat. Gradually the Mantriks sowed corrupt achars in the Hindu mind through the medium of the colours of dresses.
Subtle effects of wearing a cowboy hat:
A whirlpool of tama vibrations revolves in the cap.
From this whirlpool, clouds of tama-predominant vibrations are created.
The raja component with vibrations is activated in the cap and its spiral keeps moving around the head of the person.
Raja-predominant particles are emitted from the cap.
The destroyer-energy of Absolute Fire Principle is activated in the cap and the destroyer particles are emitted from it.
Black energy is emitted from the deeper part of the cap.
Particles of tama-predominant ego are emitted from the person because of his thought, ‘I have worn something fashionable’.
Particles of Chaitanya and Energy are emitted from the pyjama in the atmosphere.
There is no spiritual benefit from wearing such a cap.
3. Cap prevalent today with a protruding semi-circular portion in front
Due to this cap a thick black cover of raja-tama frequencies is created on the mind and intellect of thr person. The frequencies of black energy in the environment and Hell region are rapidly attracted to the raja-tama frequencies present around the mind and intellect of the person. Their cover is also created around the mind and intellect of the person. Because of this cover the discriminatory ability of the person is suppressed, his ego increases and his tama component is awakened and activated. As a result the negative energies easily take control of the Jiva’s mind and intellect and they can do their task through the medium of such Jivas.
4. A white flat cap (Gandhi cap)
When some progressive-minded Bharatiyas were blindly imitating the foreign culture, a white flat cap which was known as a Gandhi cap was prevalent in Bharat. The Gandhi cap was certainly better than the foreign hat.
Subtle effects of white flat cap:
Because of the white colour, the particles of sattva component are emitted from it.
By wearing the white Gandhi cap, the negative energies in the atmosphere are attracted to it and it also emits black energy. For this reason the person wearing this cap is not able to achieve communion with God.
The energy of Absolute Fire Principle is emitted from the white Gandhi cap and the person is protected from the tama-predominant vibrations in the atmosphere.
A cover of tama guna is created around the mind and intellect of the person wearing the cap and it emits the particles of tama guna.
Not much spiritual benefit is available by wearing a white Gandhi cap. Whatever benefit is available; it is because of the white colour of the cap.
In the earlier times, a cap or a turban was not necessary. That is why men did not wear a cap or a turban. Today most people wear a cap for protecting themselves from the sun. Wearing a cap maybe beneficial to some extent at a physical level; but its adverse effects at a spiritual level are numerous. Keeping this point in mind abstain from wearing a cap as far as possible.
5. Why there was no need to wear a cap in earlier times?
In earlier times most people were following Dharma in day-to-day life. They had a tuft on the head. The tuft works like an antenna. Through the tuft, such Jivas could easily absorb the frequencies of the Deities in the atmosphere. They did not need a cap. In Kaliyug due to decline in sattvikta, it is appropriate that even the men who have a tuft should wear a cap.
6. Importance of wearing of a cap by men during religious rituals
Points regarding wearing of a cap by men during a religious ritual in Kaliyug are as follows:
Process of absorption of nirgun Divine energy becoming possible: In a religious ritual the man is the administrator of the ritual. The nirgun Divine Energy is attracted to his Brahmarandhra. In the people in Kaliyug, the ability to absorb this energy is absent. For this reason, through the external mediums like a cap it becomes possible to absorb this energy as per the person’s ability.
The process of absorption of sattvikta through raja guna becoming easy: The temperament of men is not of raja guna. As compared to men the women are more sensitive. For this reason it becomes possible for women to absorb the sattvik frequencies in less time; but for men it is not possible. At the time of a religious ritual the action-frequencies in the atmosphere materialise in the cap worn by men and are slowly transferred in his body. These frequencies help sustain the activeness of men. Similarly it becomes easy for men to obtain the benefit of sattvikta in less time.
Prevention of raja-tama frequencies emitting from the hair: By wearing a cap, the rapidly moving raja-tama frequencies emitted from the man’s hair are covered by the cloth. This stops their functioning. During auspicious occasion, the raja frequencies of action are spread in the environment. By wearing a cap at this time, these frequencies are absorbed and transferred in his body. In this manner it becomes possible for a person to obtain the benefit of these frequencies on a sagun level.
The touch of the protective sheath created around the body becoming helpful in making the man’s body sattvik: By wearing a cap during a religious ritual Chaitanya is transmitted in the person’s body in some proportion and is also emitted in all the directions through the cap in some proportion. After some time, a protective sheath of these emitted Chaitanya frequencies is created around the body of the person. In a way this helps protect the person on the level of raja guna. Similarly the touch of this sheath helps in making the body of the person sattvik.
7. Science underlying the act of wearing a cap at the time of waving an arti to a man
Because of the vermilion (kumkum) mark on the forehead and the pure substances of the arti at the time of waving an arti, the destroyer Shakti Principle is activated in some proportion. By wearing a cap or by keeping the Brahmarandhra pressed with the right palm for some time, they get the benefit of the destroyer Shakti.
8. Turban
A turban is an uncut cloth. So it contains more sattvikta. Again because it is worn by wrapping it around the head as per the circumambulation path, that is, in a clock-wise manner, spiritual healing also happens through it. The concept of turban has been introduced with a spiritual perspective by the persons of higher spiritual level of Bharat. Hence, the Divine energy is attracted in the turban.
Subtle effect of turban:
1. Chaitanya of sagun level is attracted in the turban from God.
The Chaitanya revolves around the turban in an active form.
Chaitanya and sattvikta are emitted from the upper end of the turban.
Due to the flow of Chaitanya inside the turban, the body of the person wearing it is purified and he is protected from negative energies. The mind of the person experiences calmness.
2. Divine Energy is attracted in the turban.
Particles of this energy become active and are emitted.
3. A flow of Energy is attracted in the turban from God.
This Energy is activated and revolves around the turban.
A combined flow of Chaitanya and Energy is emitted from the lower end of the turban and the black energy around the person and in the environment is pushed away.
Depending on the purpose, turbans of different colours are worn. A red coloured turban should be worn to emit the frequencies of Shakti of warrior radiance. The red colour is conducive for protection from negative energies. For spreading the Brahma radiance in the society and to imbibe it in self, the colour of the turban should be yellow. The yellow colour is conducive for spiritual progress.
8.1 Benefits of wearing a turban
The subtlest frequencies of higher Deities of the Universe are attracted towards a turban. These frequencies spread in the Jiva’s body through the Sahasrar-chakra and become active. By absorbing these sattvik and Chaitanya-filled subtle frequencies, the gross body, mental body, causal body and supercausal body of the Jiva are purified and they become sattvik and full of Chaitanya. This reduces the Jiva’s ego.
By wearing a turban, good karmas are easily performed by such Jivas. Similarly, by wearing a turban:
Religious conduct is followed by the person.
The Deities are pleased with this and they bestow blessings.
The person can easily absorb the blessings obtained from the Deities.
His ability to carry out gross and subtle tasks also increases.
