vande mataram should be the national anthem of the country Bharat not india that should be the deserved name of the country. we hindus why fear any community of the world it is our birth right and the roots of the country we come from. so with courage and will power this should be the national anthem without wasting a moment in life. every community of the world is living in bharat no other than any country in world has as many cultures than BHARAT. sO WHY WAIT LET THE VOICE OF PRIDE AND RESPECT ERUPT FROM BHARAT ITSELF FOR THE WORLD TO WATCH. BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

Yes! Vande Mataram sure should be the national anthem of our country. It has the real nationalism and patriotism behind it. Am sorry to say, but I always feel overwhelmed when I hear Vande Mataram and not when Jana Gana Mana. I also have read it on the internet that Sri Rabindranath Tagore, on the advice of Sri Motilal Nehru, had written the song Jana Gana Mana in appraisal of the then king and queen of Britain who were on a visit to India. The song was in no way written in appraisal of our nation. We should seriously think to move a motion for making Vande Mataram as our national anthem. And last, as con is opposite of pro, congress is opposite of progress.

WHY DOES IT TAKE SO LONG TO ACCEPT the vande mataram national song in the constitution. It looks like we hindus are weak mentally and psychicly for centuries since the constant invasion of islam and the British suppression. we must fight for our might and right we deserve one by one. let not any minorities take the hindus for granted. come on hindus it is time for using the mind rather than the heart.

I love this song... I feel it all over my body.
But it would be great if you could just put the
"english" version of the song in parallel as they have done at the musicindiaonline.com website. Being a south Indian, with no clue of hindi letters, could you just trans"literate" in english (like sujalam sufalam... ). That would be great.

Namaskar! I must admit that this was probably the only time in my 45 years of existence that I listened to the full version of this great song! I have no doubts whatsoever that if the Vande Mataram is instilled in the daily curriculum of schools, colleages and even our workforce, we will have a vibrant, patriotic youth who can be inspired to reach out to the soul of Bharatmata and Bharat can soon be a self sufficient great nation.

Thanks for publishing the whole song. Like many people even I was not aware that the Vande Matarma I recited all these days was imcomplete. Thanks for the meaning, the history and importance of the song. Being a teacher of a classical art form I would want all my students to learn this song.

This is no time of peace for our Bharatmata.She is facing numerous threats from inside & outside , the most dangerous of all is from Her sons and daughters who call each other by names - pandit,baniya,shudra,thakur,yadav etc.
We cannot bring back the old glory of our Mata until and unless we start the process from ourselves .
A small beginning will be to drop your sir name and add your father's first name and then bhartiaya.For example my name will be Abhijit Tilakdhari Bhartiaya .
We should also use "Vande Mataram" in place of Hello and Bye for verbal and written communication.
I pledge to change my name and that of my sons.

Vande Mataram would have been our national antham. When we sing that we really feel some kind of desh bhakti. and also it creates desh bhakti to a commom man. Jana gana mana has no proper meaning. It is belived that it was composed for some other reason. All nehru has put the foundation in such a way that Shri Rama has to take his birth to abolish this foundation. till then common people will not understand the truth.

In Pondichery, Shi Aurobindo Ashram all ashramites and school children do march past on sportsday and darshan days to a band tune of Vande Mataram,and literally Igot tears with pride to be born in this great country.Its a shame Pt.Nehru did not hear or see it,probably he would have reconsidered his stand.JaiHind

I think pepople should worry more about the state of country the number of poor and uneducated people.Living standard are appalling for great number of people of India. Jana Gana Mana has been the National Anthem of India no matter what it's origin and should stay and people should sing it out proudly and loudly.

although I grew up reciting "Jan Gan Man" as national anthem but whenever I hear Vande Mataram, it evokes such feeling of pride & love for land of my birth, Bharat, that is hard to desribe. I do not know all the words except Vande Mataram, but even those two words give powerful vibrations.I totally agree,it is high time we should make this our National Anthem and correct the the past mistake.

I joined an NGO which is doing a great service to the nation.Its Bharat vikas Parishad www.bvpindia.org It is strange that a song to praise Brithish King was written is now the national Anthem (Rastra Geet) instead of vande Matram.
One more thing i want to mention that Vande Matram may be song in chorus instead of solo singing.The NGO always starts all its programme after singing Vande Matram

Often our national flag refered the TRICOLOUR or TIRANGA. Is it right to call so when we can not make our national flag just with three colours(Orange, White, Green). We also require a blue colour to make wheel at the centre. Why is it blindly called a tricolor or tiranga.
Are Indians can not count beyond three or have colour blindness for blue colour?

Vande Mataram should be mandatory for everybody living in Bharath. If they cannot respect it, they are free to leave the country. In fact this is the time to start a nation wide agitation to make it a National song instead of Jana gana Mana. I can feel the blood gushing in my veins when I hear or recite Vande Mataram.

Vande Mataram is some thing very pious for all Hindus. It should not be got contaminated by asking other Indians of different religions who came and settled in Bharat like Muslims etc. whose culture, language etc. etc. is totally different from ours. Let it remain chaste.
