The Map of India displayed on the brochure does not show proper demarcation of Kashmir, but deletion of part of Kashmir. So also the islands of Andaman and Nicobar are not displayed. This is not in accordance to the Official Map of India by the Government of India.

The campaign has been stopped as B&R Automation Company has apologized and promised to destroy the brochures with immediate effect. HJS has written to company for correcting the website with similar promptness. The distortion is taken back within few hours from launching of campaign We thank all protestors for support. |
We came across your brochure at your stall in ‘Automation 2006 ‘ stall No F-6A, Bombay Exhibition ground, NSE compound Goregaon (East) between 27th to 30th September. The Map of India displayed on the brochure does not show proper demarcation of Kashmir, but deletion of part of Kashmir. So also the islands of Andaman and Nicobar are also not displayed. This is not in accordance to the Official Map of India by the Government of India. You have by this act distorted the Indian map and presented an incorrect map .In the process you have hurt the National sentiments of India and committed a national offence. As yours is a multinational company these brochures are distributed internationally this has also resulted in a wrong representation of the Indian boundaries.
We request you to immediately withdraw these brochures and tender an apology to all Indians for hurting their National sentiments through this incorrect display of Indian map.
